Offshore Processing Merchant Account and High Risk Merchant Account service rates depend on three main factors
1) The Risk of the business category,
2) The Volume of monthly transactions,
3) The Processing history of the business.
As such rates are assessed on a case by case basis. High risk merchants with high monthly sales turnover in excess of $1 million generally pay between 3.5-6% in discount rate for their merchant account, start up high risk merchants and, those high risk merchants with lower monthly sales turnover (less than $100,000 per month) generally receive discount rate offerings between 5.5-7.95%.
